In order to receive a quick quote, a simplified quote form can be completed for some of our schemes.


The indications or quotes will be fully compliant with appropriate paperwork. You will be advised how to commence cover and full policy documentation will be issued as soon as possible.

Submit

Agency Application

At Camberford Law we greatly value our broker and intermediary partners and are keen to establish new relationships.

If you do not currently trade with us but would like to do so, setting up an agency is very straightforward. Please complete the simple agency application form and submit it to us online. Once we have reviewed the information a terms of business agreement will be sent to you. All you need to do is sign and return it to us and your agency will be opened.

Once your agency is open you will be able to submit quotations to any of our specialist scheme departments or to our London Market department.

Regulation

Camberford Law plc is authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority. Our FSA number is 121476. This can be confirmed on the FSA’s register of authorised firms. This can be found on the website at www.fsa.gov.uk or you can call the FSA on 0845 606 9966.

Client Money & Risk Transfer

At Camberford Law we operate a non-statutory trust account and we do co-mingle money. This is all in accordance with our insurer terms of business agreements.

With regards to risk transfer, we have been granted risk transfer by the majority of insurers we place business with. However, we are unable to cascade this to our broker and intermediary partners.

In certain circumstances we will transact business with insurers that do not grant us risk transfer. In these cases we will advise you at the quotation stage that this is the case. We then have a system in place to advise you when the premium has been received by the final insurer.

Complaints

At Camberford Law we always aim to provide our clients and brokers with the highest level of service. However, we acknowledge that problems do arise occasionally and we are committed to resolving these promptly and fairly.
